Portrait of the anadromous rainbow smelt (Osmerus mordax) in the Saguenay River

This dataset presents a portrait of the current status of the anadromous rainbow smelt (Osmerus mordax) in the Saguenay. Several reports produced since the early 2000s are available, they allow us to see the evolution of the rainbow smelt situation in the Saguenay River sector (identification of spawning sites, concentration areas and threats to the Saguenay River population). There are also shapefiles (vector data) that can be visualized in a Geographic Information System (GIS). This is the distribution area of smelt and also its spawning grounds in various sectors of the Saguenay River.
