Summary of the Arctic Expedition Report Aboard the CCGS Amundsen (2020)

The 2020 Expedition Summary is an overview of the science activities that took place onboard the CCGS Amundsen during summer 2020. In the previous years, only the Expedition Report was distributed to our partners, users and to northern communities involved. In the objective of widely sharing our results with the public, we now distribute an Expedition Summary in addition to the Expedition Report.

It is possible to consult the full report and complementary documents in the dataset: Arctic Expedition aboard the CCGS Amundsen (2020).

The core oceanographic data generated by the CTD-Rosette operations, as well as meteorological information (AVOS : Automated Voluntary Observing Ship; Environnement Canada) and data collected using the Moving Vessel Profiler (MVP), the ship-mounted current meter (SM-ADCP) and the thermosalinograph (TSG) are available in the Polar Data Catalogue (PDC)

It is possible to consult an interactive map including all the years of expeditions and the different trajectories (LEG) associated with them.
