Intervention Plan for the Rehabilitation of the Shell Banks of the Haute-Côte-Nord and Manicougan MRC (2004)

This intervention plan is part of a broader global project aiming at rehabilitation of the shellfish beds in the area of the Haute-Côte-Nord and the Manicouagan MRC. This project addresses a concern identified in the Ecological Rehabilitation and Action Plan (PARE) of the Comité ZIP de la Rive Nord de l’Estuaire.

More specifically, the objectives aim to sensitize elected municipal officials, promote a common vision of the issue of wastewater treatment and identify measures adapted to different municipalities to reduce short, medium and long-term impacts of pollutants on human health and the quality of estuary waters.
