The Marine Mammal Observation Network (ROMM) is a non-profit organization dedicated to the protection and conservation of cetaceans and seals of the St. Lawrence, and their habitats.
This database is developed by the Marine Mammal Observation Network (ROMM) within the framework of the environmental observation project and includes the data gathered by member observers of the ROMM. Each summer, observations of marine mammals in the estuary and the Gulf of St. Lawrence are inventoried by member observers. These data are collected by naturalists, officers or captains of cruise ships or ferries. For more information, please see the data context.
