IBA Conservation Plan: La Malbaie-Pointe-au-Pic for 2019

Development of a Conservation Plan for the La Malbaie-Pointe-au-Pic IBA (Important Bird Areas). It aims to document the history of the coastline in order to understand what could have been the coastal ecosystems that predate the riprap of the banks. The plan also identifies conservation issues and objectives specific to the territory.

The dataset includes the conservation plan report and shapefiles characterizing different elements of the territory (woodlands, wastelands, riprap, beaches, rock, roads, infrastructure). These shapefiles make it possible to follow the evolution of the territory, the data are available for the years: 1900, 1964 and 2018.
