This dataset includes water optical parameters sampled in situ such as reflectance at sea surface and bottom, diffuse attenuation coefficient, downwelling irradiance and more. Biogeochemical data are available via the following dataset:
The microCASI hyperspectral sensor was flown on September 11, 2017, in the Forestville area and on September 14, 2017, in the Bay of Sept-Île area. With the collaboration of Fish and Oceans Canada (DFO) and the Canadian Hydrographic Service (CHS), fieldwork was carried out in support of the airborne imagery acquisition The main objective of these acquisitions was to map the nearshore coastal ecosystems (e.g. eelgrass meadows, macroalgae, saltmarsh) and derived bathymetry of the nearshore zone. Above and in-water radiometry was measured using an ASD spectroradiometer and the C-OPS.
