The scientific buoys of Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) are equipped with instruments that measure a range of optical, oceanographic, and meteorological properties. They transmit data seasonally in real time. SLGO disseminates the data of those buoys in real time and in archived format since April 2014. Data prior to 2014 are available on the SLGO through the EDMS (DFO) application. For more information, please see the data context.
Parameters: wind speed, wind direction, gusts, wave height and period, water temperature, salinity, fluorescence, water density, chlorophyll concentration, air temperature, atmospheric pressure, humidity, surface current velocity and at 6 m depth, direction of current.
Access the data in the MARINE CONDITIONS.
