Canadian Permanent Water Level Network (PWLN)- Great Lakes and St. Lawrence River and Gulf

The Canadian Hydrographic Service (CHS) of Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) operates, across the country, a permanent water level network (PWLN) tracking the fluctuation of Canadian waters level. SLGO disseminates the tide gauges data in real time continuously since April 2014 and also prediction and forecast data. Data prior to 2014 are available on the SLGO through the EDMS (DFO) application. For more information, please see the data context.

Also, using the water level forecast data, the dynamic vertical clearance, the vertical distance between an obstacle and the surface of the water, is calculated for some St. Lawrence obstacle such as the Québec Bridge. For more information, please see the data contexte.
